I find myself avoiding the cruise conversation latley. Commissions seem to get smaller but the workload is the same. I love cruises but find myself advising clients towards more profitable all-inclusives.
Everyone’s business is different. We try to direct ourselves. We sell high end and our average booking has gone up from $6500 per head to $9650 year on year. There is more optimism out there. And let’s face it, bankers never went cruising anyway (well, maybe they do now that some of them have more time).
If travel restrictions get any more invasive with regard to personal information, I have clients that simply said they will not travel if the TSA (government) want any more personal information about them, i.e. birthdates etc.
